On December 28, 1992, in the city of Cravinhos, São Paulo, Conimel began its journey with a focus on producing components for electrical systems. The founding of the company marked the beginning of a significant path toward innovation in electrical solutions.
Our first products, such as Grounding Connectors and Compression Lugs, paved the way for the production of a variety of electrical products for low, medium, and high voltage.
We entered the automotive niche, producing battery terminals for cars, trucks, and buses.
With only five years of history, it was time to grow. We expanded our space and production capacity to better serve our customers and broaden our product line.
We earned the ISO 9001 certification, nationally and internationally recognizing the quality of our work.
We celebrated by supplying electrical solutions to the entire Brazilian market and exporting to countries in South America, North America, Central America, Asia, and Europe.
We revamped our visual identity and slogan, keeping up with the innovations in the electrical solutions market and presenting our brand confidently and up-to-date.
That same year, we made our debut at Enie, a major trade fair in the electrical industry.
We launched our preformed product line, bringing innovative and high-quality solutions to the electrical sector.
We acquired an automatic casting machine with Japanese technology, as well as equipment for sand recycling and a German mixer. We increased our production capacity, with more agility, lower costs, and higher quality. We strengthened our commitment to sustainability and made our production even more efficient.
We built a new fully automated foundry of 41,000m². Located near the Anhanguera Highway in Cravinhos, this new part of the company symbolizes our determination to constantly evolve and find new ways to meet the needs of the electrical industry.
We introduced the perforator line, diversifying our product portfolio and meeting new market demands.
We were awarded 1st place in the Sustainability category by CEMIG for our work in applying circularity to create sustainable long-term value in production processes. We also won 2nd place in the Best Materials Suppliers category by CPFL.
We achieved 2nd place in the Environmental category by CEMIG, with the implementation of a water reuse system, and 2nd place in the Best Materials Suppliers category by CEMIG.
We are in the process of implementing ISO 14001 certification, which attests to the company’s compliance with global environmental standards.
We increased our production capacity with the installation of another automatic casting machine.
